Would this be a good choice for a first guitar? I'm looking for something that's beginner-friendly, but also has decent quality and sound. I want to make sure it's a solid investment for someone just starting out

Is thia a decent first Guitar?

Most guitars can work well as a first instrument; what’s more important is how well it’s set up. A properly set up $500 guitar will play better than a $5,000 guitar with a poor setup.

As long as the guitar is comfortable and easy to play, it’s a good choice. If it’s not, then it’s best to avoid it. Trust your instincts—how it feels will always guide you right.

That’s how I learned to stop purchasing guitars online without trying them out in person first.

My first guitar was an Aria, and it played really well. The neck felt incredible. They produce some solid instruments.

I’m a fan of Aria Pros. They offer a lot of features, maybe more than a beginner really needs (honestly, even pros don’t use all four volume and tone knobs, at least not for rock). But overall, it’s a solid choice—no tremolo, easy to keep in tune, and a reasonable headstock angle. It’s a great guitar.
