Why are my parents so stubborn about me getting a guitar?

Whatever you do, don’t get a TEMU guitar. They’re full of issues right out of the box. Save up for a low-end Yamaha—it’ll be worth it. And don’t let your parents hold you back from chasing your dream.

Also, look into programs or organizations that donate guitars to kids. You could even try starting a GoFundMe. If I saw a kid trying to buy a guitar, I’d throw in a few bucks.

Don’t settle for a cheap TEMU guitar. Those are practically unplayable and have zero resale value. Save up for something decent. A used Ibanez or Yamaha is way better than wasting money on brand-new junk.
