I’m thinking of making this a late Christmas gift to myself and want to try learning it in the next few days.
I’ve been playing on and off for years, probably around 1000 hours in guitar, more or less. I don’t know scales or anything, so it will have to be based on visual memory, tabs, or whatever else works.
Do you think it’s possible to learn it in that short amount of time?

I haven’t learned it, but I’d say you could get it down in a few days, though really mastering it might take longer.

It’s not a hard solo technically. It’s based on the E minor pentatonic scale.
What I would suggest is to try not to focus too much on tabs. Try to think in terms of the tones instead of just numbers.

If you’ve been playing for years, it’ll probably take a few weeks to play it right. By the way, it’s actually based on the B minor pentatonic scale.

Really?! I’m 48, and learning how to play that solo is on my bucket list. Never knew it was E minor pentatonic!
