Have Any of You Checked Out the Samurai Guitarist on YouTube?

I’m not affiliated with the channel or anything, but I’m curious if anyone here has watched the Samurai Guitarist on YouTube. It’s easily one of my favorite channels! The way he presents new concepts and ideas really changes the way I think about playing. Would love to hear your thoughts if you’ve seen his videos!

Oh yeah, I’ve seen a few of his videos! I really appreciate how he breaks down things that seem complex into bite-sized pieces. The video he did on improvisation completely changed the way I approach solos. Definitely a fan!

I watch his channel all the time! His tone is so down-to-earth, it feels like I’m learning from a friend rather than just another online guitar instructor. His “Music Theory for Guitarists” series was a game-changer for me. I’ve been playing for a while, but theory never clicked until I watched those. It’s cool how he makes everything approachable.

Yeah, Samurai Guitarist is awesome. I first found him when I was searching for tips on how to improve my fingerpicking technique, and his videos were super helpful. Plus, he has a good sense of humor, which makes learning a lot more fun!

I stumbled upon one of his gear review videos, and I got hooked! It’s rare to find someone who balances entertainment and education so well. He’s not just a great player, but he knows how to communicate ideas in a way that keeps you engaged. My playing’s definitely improved since I started following his advice.

I haven’t watched much of him, but now you’ve got me intrigued! I’m always looking for new perspectives on guitar, especially when it comes to improvisation and technique. Might have to binge some of his content this weekend. Any specific videos you’d recommend starting with?

If you’re into improvisation, I’d say check out his video on “How to Improvise Like a Pro.” It’s one of my favorites! He simplifies the process in a way that makes it a lot less intimidating. Also, his “Beginner to Expert in 12 Steps” series is really fun to watch—it’s kind of a good mix of motivation and technique!
