I spent the last few days putting these two together as Christmas gifts. They were fun to make, and I think they turned out great. What do you all think?
Both of these look amazing, but I’ve got dibs on the one on the left! DM me if you’re serious about gifting it!

Fine by me, I’ll take the one on the right then!
Wow, these are stunning! They’re so easy on the eyes.

Thanks so much! They’re actually pretty affordable builds. The maple bodies were just $30 each, stained with special walnut, and then I did 20 coats of tung oil. Found pre-wired boards on eBay with 7-way switches for $80 each, which saved me a lot of time and effort. They came perfectly done with heat-shrink tubing and all.
@Luca
That’s awesome! Where did you get the necks from? These look so professional!
Wow, these look incredible! Whoever is getting these must have been on Santa’s good list this year!
Absolutely beautiful work. Well done!
So you’ve been ‘building’… alright, Santa. What’s next, elves helping too?
These are amazing… I wish I had the skill to pull something like this off.

Honestly, no special skill required—just YouTube and patience. You can grab $120 kit builds to practice and learn. The biggest things are keeping alignment right and not misdrilling. Staining, coating, and applying copper foil is the most time-consuming part.
Did you craft the necks yourself?

Nope, those are from eBay too—flame maple blanks for $80 each. I just added tuners and a tree or roller to finish them off.
Great job! You’ve got a really impressive skill here.
