Anyone else obsessed with shoegaze setups…?

Here’s a look at my setup:

The Laney Cub (on the left) is my go-to for gigs and recording. It can drop to just one watt for recording, which is super handy, then back up to fifteen watts for gigs (mic’d, of course). The Hiwatt on the Sound City is my choice when I need to crank it up, and the Egnater is more of a backup since it runs really hot, but it’s still solid. What do you all think?

Laney amps are so underrated! I absolutely love the sound they produce. Do you have any tracks online? I’d love to hear your work!

Thanks! I’m a huge fan of Laney amps too. Sure, check out my indie band, The High Lines (https://open.spotify.com/artist/2938jSSvS6choXTxccJoqC?si=vPqAs_kUQNO502mDY7Aohg). I also have a solo project called SLEEP CLUB where I’m leaning more into heavier shoegaze and post-rock vibes. You’ll hear hints of it in songs like A Lifetime Ago and Popstar. Awesome, I’ll check them out! I’ve been trying to work shoegaze into my own music—it’s such a killer vibe.

Checked out your band and loved it! Just followed you on Spotify. Keep up the great work!

I have the same guitar as you! How are you liking it?

This is such a cool setup. Thanks for sharing!

That Laney is so sweet! I’ve been eyeing one for myself.

Wow, that Laney looks amazing. How’s the tone? I’m seriously tempted to grab one.
